Do you provide caregiving services and/or home health nursing?
No, Friendly Faces Mobile Care is a medical service, providing Primary & Urgent Care services for which you are billed via insurance or cash-pay per visit for medical care by a provider. We can, however, provide referrals or recommendations for these services.

Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we accept most major insurance providers including Medicare. Please see the Insurance page for details.

Do you charge concierge fees?
No, we do not charge a concierge fee. We charge per visit via insurance or cash-pay visit rate only.

Do I need to be your patient to be seen for Urgent Care visits for acute illness/injury?
No, you do not need to be a patient on our PCP panel to be seen for an acute illness or injury. We are happy to coordinate your care with your other providers and send your visit notes to whomever you would like us to.

Do you see minors?
No, we see adults who are 18 and above.

Do you have to be homebound to be eligible for this service?
Absolutely not! We are happy to offer the convenience of home visits to anyone interested in our services.

Can I be seen by a doctor?
No, Friendly Faces Mobile Care is operated by an independently-practicing Nurse Practitioner.

Can you provide routine wound care for chronic wounds?
This is a medical service equivocal to being seen for a visit by a provider in a clinic or an Urgent Care. We can see you for would evaluation and treatment for new or changing wounds or concern for infection. We cannot see you for repeated dressing changes for chronic wounds.

Can you change urinary catheters?
Yes, if you are having any issues with your urinary catheter (urethral or suprapubic), be it pain, obstruction or concern for infection, we can absolutely change the catheter and do urine testing if that is indicated. We cannot do routine monthly catheter changes or bladder irrigation; these routine procedures can be done by home health nursing.
